Hollywood is always in the news, and this week it is Ashton Kutcher, a star on the TV show “Two and Half Men Show.” Various affairs have brought his 6 year marriage to Demi Moore to an end. This makes me think about my own life and how my indiscretions almost destroyed my relationships.
Sexual addiction is more than affairs. It started with the fantasy of getting any women I saw. My mind took me on mental affairs that led me to strip clubs, seedy parts of town, and prostitutes.
Sexual addiction is not just about sex, it is about the fantasy and less about reality. Not being able to separate fantasy from reality becomes increasingly difficult. Addicts create their own realties, and actually believe what they tell themselves.
Although this appears as becoming more common in society, how does it really affect your primary relationship?
